The GLCESC concept is forged out of the necessity to move into communities of the Great Lakes toward an energy efficient future.  Today’s tough economic times require innovative and yet bold actions to leverage every penny of tax dollars to benefit the community.  One largely untapped area of savings potential for all of the Great Lakes Region lies in expenditures for energy.  All of the buildings – public and private – businesses and homes – schools and hospitals – can save energy.

GLCESC is the first of its kind in the nation developing community based solutions, training and outreach to deliver practical real life solutions under today’s budget constraints, performing advanced research to equip energy smart communities of the future, connecting smart energy suppliers and consumers, providing unbiased assessment, information and critical training of owners, operators and consumers.
